Data Model Empty Data Model

hi everyone,

What tools(Excel, Visio) etc do you use to create data model? I find it hard to do in Visio. any help would be appreciated.

I've normally used ERWin or Embarcadero ER Studio. There are one or two others worth considering, but these two are the most popular and respected.

They are not cheap. A single user license runs in the thousands of dollars. But if this is for your job, it is well worth the investment. Productivity and quality is much improved over something like Visio.
