Surrogate Key Disadvantages??

can you tell me if there are any disadvantages of using a surrogate key in the enterprise data warehouse ?

No. Can't think of any.

There is obviously an overhead in the surrogate key pipeline (getting a new surrogate key for new dimensions records and getting them to the fact table instead of the natural keys from your data source).

However, this is a minimum cost compared to the benefits that surrogate keys will bring to the data warehouse.
