Questions about modelling an event fact table Empty Questions about modelling an event fact table

Hello again!

I allows me to send another request in this forum. Accidents are often modeled as event-based fact-less tables. In connection with the accident, we injured people and there may be more injuries associated with the same incident. Beyond this, each person can also be injured body parts. In theory, we have 3 less fact tables but those tables've got a connection to each other. One could of course make a great table by accident but then aggrerere number of injuries per accident, number of injured body parts per accident but we must be able to report on injured people and injured body parts in different varieties. I want to get input from you expert contributors

regards

Geir

I've got some blog posts on this:

https://jsimonbi.wordpress.com/2011/03/17/data-modeling-conundrum-follow-up/

I like Marco Russo's suggestion at the end of the second post.
