Fact Table Generating Another Fact Table

Dear All,

I have a question regarding Fact Table. That can a Fact Table with different Grain produces another Fact Table with some other Grain. for example: Transactions Fact Table producing Alerts Fact Table on basis of some Criteria stored in Some Dimension Table daily, monthly or custom wise.

Absolutely. I have an accumulating snapshot fact table that is populated from a transaction fact table. The only issue is dependency. One fact table cannot start loading until the first fact table has completed.
