Best Practice: two Cube share one Dimension?
Hi everyone
im doubt in this: i got two dimensional model one for sales and other for bills so each model has the document dimension table.
so i use sql server for each model i get one cube . So which better create one dimension document and share it in the two cubes (like the model)
or create one dimension documentesells to one and documentsbills to the other
thanks

If they share the same set of dimension attributes and attribute values mostly overlap, then consolidate them into one, otherwise you can't.
