Tip #136 Adding a Mini-Dimension to a Bridge Table: What if you can't split the dimension?
Hi folks,
I've just received the "Tip #136 Adding a Mini-Dimension to a Bridge Table" and despite I think it is a good idea for specific and isolated cases, I would like to know what would happen if customer dimension is conformed within the bus architecture and used by many other fact tables, so the split of the dimension is not possible?
What do you think about that? What possible solutions would you implement (and not adding "demographic" dimension to all the star schemas implemented)?
Thanks
