Asset Hierarchy in Transmission Utiltiy
Hello There,
We have following two sets of hierarchy in the operational system..
Region >> AREA >> SRVC CENTER >> LINE >> SECTION >> NODE
Region > Area > SRVC CENTER > SITE (Transmission/Distr) > Area Of Protection > Equipment > Sub Equipment (Component)
Here Equipment itself is Self-referenced for Parent and child. Multiple types of Equipments exists.
What would be the best Hierarchy to model in such a scenario which would be flexible and also expandable.
Thx

Re: Asset Hierarchy in Transmission Utiltiy
It is a basic ragged hierarchy with attributes at each level. Have a dimension for the attributes and use a bridge.
Examples of Ragged Hierarchy ?
