SCD attributes Empty SCD attributes

Hi
Just starting on a new DW project and wanted to clarify something. For a type 2SCD, would I be correct in saying that a typical dimension would have the attributes : effective_date , end_date and current_flag, or is it just effective_date and end_date.
I apologize for the simplicity of the question.

I use all three. I would say that I'm typical. Others may disagree but I don't listen to them.

I agree too. Use all three. The cost is not that high for the ease of use later on.
