Bus Matrix Questions Empty Bus Matrix Questions

Greetings,

I have a logistic question concerning the Creation of the BUS MATRIX. During the Business Requirements Collection phase of the SDLC, is it typical/common or even a best practice to identify "All" of the business processes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse? Or is it best of only focus on one or two at a time? In other words, should the collection phase continue iteratively until the MATRIX document is completely fleshed out before moving to Modeling. Could someone who has some experience with this offer their advise?

Iterative. How do you even know your dimensions until you get to modeling?
