Suggestion: An Introduce yourself subforum
Hi All,
I am called Peter Nolan and I've been around BI for a long time. It's wonderful to see Ralph has now created a forum on this site. I'm really pleased to be here. It has been many years since dwlist went away and there has been no really good point of discusssion about data modeling and ETL since....IT Toolbox lacks a bit I feel.
I hope that this will be a place I can contribute back a bit of what I have learned over the years.
Anyway, my first suggestion for people to discuss is the idea of an 'introduce yourself' forum so that we can know a little about the people we are talking to. Nothing worse than talking at far too high or low level of detail to a person.
Best Regards
Peter
