Gaming Industry

Hi,

I am trying to build (still on papers and discussions) a data warehouse for Social Gaming industry. I tried various resources to get a kickoff or basic start on this industry.

Is there something I am missing or is it similar to any other industry that I can see and follow?
What are the Facts and Dimensions that I can start off, Is there any sample model available?
Obviously, there are other factors to build complete data warehouse but the data model is where I'm struck.

Just to give you a background on this industry, developing games that are posted on the social websites like Facebook and identify the users usage patterns and study this data for growth in business. KPI's are involved. What I am feeling is this industry might depend on the historical data very less and keen on the Current data.
