Many to Many to Many relationship
Hi,
I considered a bridge table but I thought it would be less complicated to have 2 FACT tables. I would greatly appreciate any design advice on this relationship.
I have included at the top - a description of current transactional data and at the bottom the 2 fact tables. I am concerned that even with 2 fact tables, I have 2 different grains and because one is lower it is a many to many relationship
IO's (feedings) to milks type = M - M
Milk types and instances have a many to many relationship with Additives both on type and on measures such as calories, and amounts
