Modeling demographics
Need some help modeling viewership by demographic.
The fact contains measures for #Viewing and #TotalMarket for each of a large, variable list of demographics that change frequently. A single fact/demographic would be something like "500 Adult Males 24-79 out of a total 10,000 in market area." It actually gets even more interesting, as in "10,000 males 24-79 in market; 2,000 watching something; 500 watching this."

I think you would need to model these measures in separate fact tables as they appear to have different grains - and you can't mix measures with a different grain in the same fact table

I've always modeled demographics as dimensional data that categorizes typically an address. All of the big vendors that provide demographic data base it off of an address. Household size, income, religion, age bands, ethnicity, are all dimension data. Your examples are a little confusing in that I'm not sure exactly what your metrics are.
