Hello,
lets say I have a customer dimension(Conformed) with a customerCreateddate. In the customer fact table I map customerCreateddate. to my date dimension's SK. Now do I still need to keep this date in my customer dimension or remove it? if I remove it from the customer dimension and other fact tables need to use this dimension, then they do not get to see this attribute. My guess is to not remove it. Any thoughts?
