one or three cubes
We are creating a business management 'summary' data warehouse to support customers and the business. The example of the types of information include: 1. consumption summaries, 2. purchase order summaries, and 3. statement summaries including one time charges.
It would be convenient to combine these multiple into one cube, however it does not seen feasible to do this. The practical alternative seems to be multiple cubes.
Is there a structure that supports one cube or are multiple cubes required?
Thank you,
Dan

Re: one or three cubes
To get things into one cube, all the measures must conform to the same set of dimensions. If that is not possible, or the result would be too summarized to be useful, then you have to go with separate cubes.
