Incremental Loading
Hi All,
I plan to implement an own ETL tool.
Which are the best practices for incremental loading (fact and dimensions)?
Which approaches cause a less impact on the presentation area (queries, reports)?
Thanks,
Leandro

Re: Incremental Loading
Not sure I understand the question.
Best practice depends on what, if any, change history is needed.
As for "Which approaches cause a less impact on the presentation area (queries, reports)?" I would say, no change history is the simplest to deal with. But it doesn't matter since business requirements, not presentation conveniences, would drive the design.
