Attn: Joy - Please respond :) re: SSIS 2008 Adv Works Model
Thanks for responding here, Joy! I'd love to know when the 2008 version of the Adv Works SSIS model is once again available on the Kimball book website! Related - do you have an idea when the new Data Warehouse Toolkit book will be available for purchase? I'm going to be snatching one up as soon as it rolls-off the press
Peace!

We are working hard on the update to the Microsoft Data Warehouse Toolkit. I'm pleased to hear we already have a customer! It should be available in 1Q2011, possibly as early as late February but more likely March.

Thank you Joy! I'll make an advanced order then through Amazon - or can I reserve a copy through this website?
Related (sort of) - I saw in another thread that you had updated the Adventure Works SSIS model to fit the SQL 2008 topology and that it would be available for download soon? Could I get a pointer as to where? I benefited tremendously from the SQL 2005 version.
Thanks for everything!

Bugging - sorry Joy... :(
Just wanted to keep this thread alive so as to be updated when the SQL 2008 SSIS solution was made available.

B&L, Joy had responded in a separate thread that the updated SSIS solution had been previously posted to the book's web site and had been dropped for some reason. While I've already pre-ordered my copy of the SS2K8 revised book itself, I am understanding that the SSIS solution is already completed ad was going to be re-posted.
That's why I try to keep this thread near the top.
Thanks for your help.
Peace.
