Predictive Analytics (Fraud Score) and Dimensional Models
I am working on a demo for Claims that we will present to different customers (of our company) to buy. The demo will have a star schem underneath. I have a claim transaction fact. The business users are asking me to add a new attribute in the Claims Dimension called Fraud Score. The score will be calculated from a predictive analytics engine and output to this star schema. We are not creating the predictive anlytics model just the star schema.
I am not sure if the score belongs in a dimension or not (Claims Dimension).
Any suggestions will be helpful.
Thanks!

Why wouldn't you put it in? Any measure is applicable. You don't have to calculate it. You can load it from a third party or a SAS program.
