Database design for Organization hierarchy for collecting data at different level for creating metrics
Hi ,
Im new to database. I have requirement for developing metrics framework. In my organization we have hierarchy. Each hierarchy we have certain metrics thats common for all some metrics specific to particular department. I have defined Level master table which links to each hierarchy level. And I have User Role defined. Based on the level she/he can see the dashboard of his level to bottom level. I dont know whether am doing right or wrong. Please correct me if Im wrong and give me idea how to automate this using database. Is role should be links to Hierarchy level?
Thanks,
