ETL Tools please
Are their any ETL tools that will provide the most flexibility with the least amount of custom coding (as in little to none) out of the box? I'm just looking for a list of tools that others have used that didn't require a lot of custom programming to get enterprise quality ETL processes (a large variety of sources, audit capability, possibly data lineage, ect).
Any assistance would be great. Thanks.

Re: ETL Tools please
Hi,
I have worked with Information Builders and am currently developing with Talend. Both are pretty solid etl development tools and most likely will provide you with what you are looking for.
There is going to be some high level coding (i.e. using visual components) involved along with some coding at the lower level be it in the Focus language for the Information Builders tool or java for the Talend. That said, the coding at the Focus/java language level was not all that much and each tool provides for a very easy way to incorporate the code.
Hope this helps and good luck on your search.

Different ETL solutions options
It depends on what you can invest:
Expensive and good tools I know:
- Informatica PowerCenter
- Oracle Data Integrator (ELT)
Econmic options:
- Pentaho Data Integration
- Talend.
I like vwey much Pentaho DI , it has a lot of predefoned steps and it's turning well to big data
Some criteria to evaluate ETL tools (in spanish language):

Re: ETL Tools please
Have you considered Data Warehouse Automation, rather than generic ETL?
There is a comprehensive list of products, as well as a set of evaluation criteria for dimensional modelling automation, on our web site:
