What is your database platform?
If it is SQL Server / SSIS, then Pragmatic Works has products that do a good job.

is "Pragmatic Works" a metadata supportive ?
First ,thanks for your help ,but i checked Pragmatic Works and i think it will not make the wanted work .instead i used SQL Server Metadata Toolkit 2008 ,but for unknown reason each time i use it and check the repository database i found it empty ,do you have any idea about that ?

Re: ETL Technical Metadata Tools ?
Sorry, I can't answer that question.
I used to work for Microsoft, in pre-sales for SQL Server, and the Pragmatic Works products were what we recommended at that time for needs like yours. Out of curiousity, what requirements were not being met by DOC xPress?
(I have no relationship with Pragmatic Works, other than previously having used and liked their products)
