How many measures in a fact table is acceptable?

I would like to find out what is the maximum number of measures allowed in a fact table?

No more than their needs to be.
I'm not trying to be cute, but the thing is there is no such thing. The contents should be driven by business requirements and the grain of the fact. Normally you don't store measures that are simple calculations of other measures, but other than that, there isn't any 'maximum'.
If your question has more to do with physical limitations of a particular database system, then I would suggest that if you have a table design that is running up against limits like that, you may want to rethink your design.
