SSAS 2008 and adding built in time dimension
I added a time dimension to my SSAS cube. Then added it as a cube dimension. This was required in order to add year to date
functionality. Once this was in place I was able to add the time intelligence to the cube where it allowed for adding the ytd to
my calendar hierarchy. Everything was looking promising but when I viewed the cube in the browser, although the calendar drill down
hierarchy worked, and I performed the drilldowns the value #1 totals across all the selected years, quarters, months, days were exactly
the same. What did I miss?

On the dimension usage tab, make sure the time dimension is configured/selected for the related measures.
