Accumulating Snapshot in case of complex pipelines

Dear Team,
It's feeling great to implement data warehouse using your design tips and these tips are helping a lot.
Can i have a example regarding Design Tip #130 i.e. Implementing complex pipelines using Accumulating Snapshot Fact Tables?
I have gone through this #130 Design Tip but I'm not getting much clarity.
It'll be great If you guys can help me out in this.
